1.1. EdHat International Foundation Diploma in Business Management (NQF Level 3)

Overview

The EdHat International Foundation Diploma in Business Management targets on to preparing candidates for entry on to the EdHat (NQF Level 5) International Higher Diploma in Business Management related disciplines as EdHat (NQF Level5) International Higher Diploma in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Banking and Finance, General Management. The whole qualification provides the candidate to have the knowledge on introductory concepts in Business and Management initial concepts of Information Technology integration to make ready the candidate with the necessary skills to successes in higher education.

In this program, candidate will be introduced to essential concepts in mathematics, skills in understanding and application of Information Technology and also necessary knowledge in organization management, business and economics in order to further understanding on of the subject of Business Management.

Candidates who successfully complete this qualification are eligible for all the EdHat International Higher Diploma programs, in the discipline of Business Management and Business Information Technology also this qualification opens up candidate’s eligibility to enter in to lots of higher education qualification or employment opportunities. When considering on university degree programs in Business Management, Marketing, International Business, Accounting and Finance, Human Resource Management and further diverse specific topics in Management. When it comes to employment possibilities includes, Human Resource training officer, Staff Recruitment officer, Accounts Clerk, Accounting Technician, Banking Assistant are some of them.

This qualification is suitable for both students who aged between 16 – 19 and also adults’ candidates.

Entry Requirement

Programs of EdHat International Higher Diploma are designed particularly for those students who have recently been in education with an entry profile as follows:

Relevant NQF Level 3 qualifications or

• An access to Higher Education certificate awarded by an approved Further Education institution or equivalent.
• EdHat International Higher Diploma programs may also be accessed by those with previous relevant learning and/or work experience. In such cases the entry profile may include:
• Accreditation of Prior Certified Learning (APCL) which gives recognition to learning which has been formally assessed and for which a certificate has been awarded other than those listed above; or
• Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) which gives recognition to knowledge and skills developed through different types of experience, such as work and voluntary activities. Mature students may present a more varied profile of achievement that is likely to include extensive work experience.
